Specialisations: Specialising in migrating client files to Xero, troubleshooting and finding the best solutions for clients who have problematic work.
Loves: Solving tricky reconciliations no one else wants to touch and loves working one-on-one with clients to make their financial lives easier — all while keeping up with two young children.
Doné Hanekom – Senior Bookkeeper
Doné secretly believes a good spreadsheet can fix almost anything.
She began her career as a mining accountant back in South Africa, and after moving to Australia, she spent the past seven years happily buried in numbers, systems and reconciliations.
She finds genuine satisfaction in seeing accounts balance and everything fall into place. Doné loves diving into new programs, figuring out how they work, and exploring anything involving clever systems or automation.
Qualifications: ND in Cost and Management Accounting, Cert IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting, Xero Certified Advisor. Next on her list: becoming a Registered BAS Agent.
